Dr. Ryan McComb

Founder & Lead Orthodontist

Harvard-trained orthodontist and founder of McComb Orthodontics. Ryan is passionate about designing personalized treatment plans using advanced digital orthodontic technology.

Dr. Ryan McComb is a Culver City Orthodontist who lives in sunny Venice Beach, CA.
He graduated from Harvard University with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine and went on to complete his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics at UCLA.

Orthodontics is a passion of Ryan’s. From simple treatments to advanced surgical procedures, his favorite part of practicing orthodontics is assessing an individual and forming a treatment plan.

You’ll find Dr. McComb spending most of his free time active on the beach playing volleyball, hanging out with his twin boys or working out at his local gym. He enjoys meeting new people, preparing Sunday brunch, and having deep conversations about historical fiction novels. Ask him anything about orthodontics, and he’ll be happy to provide an informative and easy to understand answer.

Awards and Honors

With numerous awards and certifications, Dr. McComb has excelled in his orthodontic career. He has spent time with the American Dental Association’s program Give Kids A Smile, providing dental services to underserved children, and contributed to orthodontic research by developing a novel technique for creating normative models of the human skull in 3-dimensions.

Dr. Reyna-Blanco is dedicated to helping patients build confidence through their smiles and believes orthodontic care can truly transform lives.

Initiative is a cornerstone for Dr. Reyna-Blanco. He’s proud to have his dream career, and continues to be thankful to the people who helped foster his dreams into reality. Growing up with society’s barriers and strong family traditions, it took many influential mentors to guide him towards his continued education. They say it takes a village, but for him it took two small towns in two different countries to cultivate his dreams and push him towards success.

A first generation immigrant and college graduate from Peribán, Michoacán, Dr. Reyna-Blanco lives in Los Angeles, California in order to stay close to his parents in Mexico. Family and hispanic culture is extremely important to him. He enjoys staying active and being outdoors. You’ll often catch him exploring new places with his loved ones, cooking new recipes, and going on long drives in his Jeep.

Dr. Reyna-Blanco’s goal is to have an impact in people’s lives. As an orthodontist, he enjoys connecting with both children and adults, but truly values seeing the transformation and confidence their new smiles can bring. He sees the impact treatment has on their lives, and continues to feel honored and lucky at being a part of it.

Dr. Katib is a board-certified orthodontist living in Los Angeles, California. She has a passion for orthodontics and feels fortunate to practice a profession she truly loves.

Dr. Katib is dedicated to providing personalized orthodontic care, thoughtfully designing treatment plans that optimize each patient’s smile while balancing facial esthetics, comfort, and long-term oral health. She believes in a collaborative approach to care and strives not only to meet, but to exceed her patients’ expectations, all while making the journey an enjoyable one. Outside the office, Dr. Katib values spending time with her family, exploring Southern California, and taking long bike rides along the Strand. She looks forward to meeting you soon!

This is an update to my previous review. I'm a behavior analyst so I recognized their business model immediately. Aside from the issue with the finance guy, everything else has honestly been great. Parking is easy, wait time is pretty low. They squeezed me in the next day when I had a concern. Wasn't super impressed by the first drs rapport building, BUT the second and third doctors I saw were great. They really changed my mind about this office. There was a woman dr that actually sat down and took her time talking to me and listening to the concerns. Only suggestions I have would be to spend more time with the clients so it feels more personable. Also for anyone worried about IPR, don't worry. They kept saying, "You won't even notice." I didn't believe them but you literally can't even tell. I was so worried about it for nothing. For me they just took something that was like a metal piece of floss and rubbed it between my teeth a little.

McComb Orthodontics has provided Invisalign treatment for both of my children and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They take the time to explain treatment options and goals thoroughly and every visit is met with attentive and professional staff. Also quick to help with calls when aligners go missing or buttons chipped off! The office is beautiful and conveniently located on Sycamore (just off Melrose) near Sightglass and Tartine - perfect for stopping off for a treat after appointments 🙂
